Amir Raza
Amir is a proven, results oriented sales leader who brings more than 17 years experience
in sales, marketing, strategy and general management, with particular expertise
in complex outsourcing engagements using a global delivery model. Since joining
Symphony in 2002, Amir has held various sales leadership positions and currently
heads the sales organization responsible for new client acquisition and management.
He has a track record of nurturing high performance sales teams and consistently
garnering market adoption for new services and innovative engagement models.
Prior to Symphony, Amir was with Mascon Global (MGL), an IP-led technology solutions
company, where he was Partner in charge of their eBusiness and Application Management
Outsourcing practices. Previously, under his leadership as General Manager, Mascon's
ERP division achieved dominant market position in select manufacturing sub-verticals.
As one of the initial employees at MGL Americas, he was instrumental in driving
accelerated revenue growth - $10M to $200+M in 6 years - resulting in the company's
IPO.
Amir has a Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering and a MBA in Marketing from the University
of Maryland, College Park.
David Carpini
In addition to geographic responsibilities, David is responsible for leadership
and growth of the Engineering Services and Embedded and Telecom businesses for Symphony
Services. He brings more than 25 years of experience in the technology industry,
with specific expertise helping companies leverage global delivery models and offshore
best practices. Before taking on this assignment, David led the establishment of
Symphony’s European operations, driving business development and client relationships
in Europe and Asia Pacific. Earlier, David had an executive sales leadership role
in the U.S.
Prior to joining Symphony he was Vice President of Sales for Covansys, a global
consulting and technology services company. He joined Covansys from ITWorx, Egypt’s
largest software development company. He has also held sales, marketing and engineering
roles at Scient and French Fragrances International. David spent much of his career
with IBM working with software development teams in Europe, the Middle East and
Africa. He held multiple sales and marketing roles, including managing worldwide
teams servicing one of IBM’s largest global accounts working out of offices in London.
David holds a B.S. degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science from Fairfield
University.
Alok Sinha
Alok is responsible for service delivery in Symphony’s Professional services, Technical
support and heads the Engineering Design services business unit. He brings more
than 24 years experience to his leadership role.
Prior to Symphony, Alok was with Scandent Solutions, an IT services company based
in Bangalore, where he served as Senior Vice President, Enterprise Solutions and
Executive Vice President, India and Middle East operations. Alok had P&L; responsibility
for Scandent’s global enterprise solutions business which he grew as a result of
establishing a professional services and support organization and refreshing their
go-to-market strategy.
Previously, Alok was Vice President, Integrated Business Solutions, at Reliance
Infocom, where he was responsible for integrating the enterprise with backend business
systems. He also worked for the Tata Group in a variety of roles including Strategic
Information Officer and Executive Officer to the Executive Director of Tata Motors.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Punjab Engineering College
in Chandigarh and an MBA from XLRI in Jamshedpur, India.
Kishor Wikhe
Kishor brings more than 16 years of experience in business strategy, product development,
delivery, and operations in the technology services industry to Symphony Services.
Building upon his strong track record of scaling delivery operations and managing
large-scale engagements for both global and domestic clients, Kishor is responsible
for managing delivery operations at our Pune technology centre. Kishor will also
be responsible for the growth of our Enterprise Technology business unit.
Prior to joining Symphony, Kishor was Executive Vice President in Capgemini India
Pvt Ltd (formerly Kanbay). Kishor managed development and implementation of VisionPlus,
the leading global credit card processing software product and the creation of its
toolkit. He also established Kanbay’s regional portfolio for India/Middle East/South
Africa. Before Kanbay, Kishor led P&L; responsibility and managed growth for one
of TCS’s best-performing US territories.
Kishor has a Master in Engineering degree in Electronics and Control Systems from
BITS - Pilani, India, where he finished top of his class.
Madhusudan Reddy N
Madhu brings more that 20 years of experience in technology services and is responsible
for growth of the Enterprise Application business unit for Symphony Services. He
is also responsible for managing delivery operations at the Bangalore center.
In his earlier roles, Madhu has managed technology services as well as product teams
and has extensive experience in setup, establishment and growth of new operations.
Prior to Symphony, Madhu was Managing Director of Evolving Systems Inc. and led
the establishment of their India Operations. Earlier in his career, as Assistant
Vice President and General Manager, Hughes Software Systems, he established Hughes
Bangalore operations and built it to more than 300 strong organization. Madhu has
also spent significant years in leading product teams at Tata Consultancy Services,
GE Capital and PSI Data Systems.
Madhu holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics & Communications from Bangalore University.
Mohan hebbar
Mohan is responsible for service delivery for embedded clients with telecom, system
management and media applications. He brings more than 18 years of rich systems
experience in telecom switching, transmission and applications and product engineering
expertise applying emerging technologies in the telecom convergence domain.
Before joining Symphony, Mohan was Managing Director of Cradle Technologies in India,
a U.S. start-up developing multi-core DSP chipsets with parallel programming as
a development paradigm. Prior to Cradle Technologies, Mohan headed engineering operations
for OpenClovis in India, with a focus on carrier-grade middleware for telecommunication
infrastructure equipment. While at OpenClovis, Mohan built and led a highly specialized
engineering team that created products from conception to release. He also held
positions with Texas Instruments (TI) managing the DSL modem development group and
overseeing multimedia codecs delivery for TI business units worldwide. Earlier,
Mohan had a long stint at Hughes Software Systems (currently, Aricent Communications)
where he was responsible for the DSP group with a focus on satellite communication,
wireless communication and VOIP. Mohan began his career in the hardware industry
building medium-sized digital switches and winning approval from the Department
of Telecommunication in India.
Mohan holds a Master’s degree in Communication Systems from IIT- Roorkee, UP, India.
Alan Harlan
Alan brings more than 20 years of experience with software and outsourcing companies
and has served in executive technology, sales, and accounting roles. As the leader
of the Product Line Management group, Alan and his team assume full responsibility
for entire product lines or business units—globalizing product engineering and taking
on all market facing operations—to help clients optimize profitability and sustainability.
He has a tracks record of running high performing sales and delivery operations
and turning around under-performing business units. Under his leadership the Product
Line Management group transformed Spend Management Solutions, a telecommunications
expense management software provider, into a profitable and sustainable software-as-a-service
(SaaS) organization by globalizing the full product engineering lifecycle and reforming
onshore sales and service resources to efficiently serve North American and European
customers. Alan also serves as President of Symphony Spend Management Solutions
which is a unit within the Product Line Management group.
Prior to joining Symphony Services, Alan was EVP for Sierra Design Group, Inc.,
a gaming software development and services firm, VP of Sales for Sourcecorp, Inc.,
a data services company with significant global outsourcing relationships, and EVP
of Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., a global technology and business process
firm.
Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Accounting from Louisiana
State University.
Satheesh Kumar
Satheesh has more than 17 years of experience in product development, enterprise
solution design and technology leadership. In his earlier roles, he has successfully
built and managed large, globally distributed engineering operations and helped
bring many products from early concept stage to market. Prior to Symphony, Satheesh
was the Founder and CTO of Accordia, Inc. (Acquired by Bristlecone, Inc.). Earlier
in his career, he was a Senior Architect at i2 Technologies and IBM, India. He started
his career as a scientist.
He has a Master degree in Computer Software from Cochin University of Science and
Technology.
Srivibhavan Balaram
Vibhav is responsible for leadership, growth and development of the Technology Development
Service Line (TDSL) at Symphony Services. His areas of focus include Business Intelligence
and Data Analytics, Virtualization Technologies, Network and Systems Management,
Networking Protocol stocks, Operating systems and Mass Storage Device drivers. He
has specialized in building software in these domains and provided leadership in
use of tools to improve ROI, driving innovation and customer driven quality.
Bringing more than 26 years of experience in the technology industry, Vibhav envisages
special interest in building technology products end-to-end in India and thereby
impacting the direction of technology in emerging markets. With a combined passion
for people and technology, Vibhav has demonstrated proficiency in leading initiatives
from the ground up and has a proven track record of engineering execution.
Prior to joining Symphony, Vibhav founded and headed Business Objects Engineering
in India and played the leadership role in the integration with SAP. Earlier, he
worked in key positions at Novell (founding core team in India), HP (product rationalization
following the HP-Compaq merger), Hughes and TCS. Vibhav holds a Bachelor of Engineering
degree in Electronics and Communication from the University of Mysore, India. He
has also spent time at IIT Delhi doing research in formal methods for proving the
correctness of software programs.
Sunil Gupta
Sunil is responsible for leading the company’s product verification and validation
services, which includes QA processes assessment and Product Quality Assessment
to help companies achieve global market leadership. Drawing from his 23 years of
product and system engineering experience, Sunil works closely with clients to transform
their QA operations from ‘defect detection’ to ‘defect prevention’ thus leading
to reduction in time-to-market and enhancement of product quality to achieve market
leadership. Sunil also owns general business and delivery oversight of the Product
Quality Service Line at Symphony.
Prior to Symphony, Sunil had worked with C-DOT and Aricent in different capacities.
He was Head of Engineering at Aricent (erstwhile Hughes Software Systems) for their
MobilSat and Mobile Terminal business units where he delivered large, fixed price
projects. He also headed QA practice at Aricent which he started from scratch and
built into a formidable testing business. He has significant experience in successfully
integrating companies from the engineering and cultural perspective.
Sunil is a trained ISO and CMMi Level 5 Assessor and had led Software Engineering
Process Group (SEPG) for many years in previous organizations.
Sunil holds a B-Tech degree in Computer Science from REC Trichy, Madras University.
Tal G. Ball
Tal is Senior Vice President, Analytics Services, a new set of offerings from Symphony
Services that helps clients achieve superior results from operational processes
by enabling fact based decisions and by leveraging the right combination of experience,
bandwidth and technology to plan, build, deliver and manage analytic capabilities
and insights. Clients are often able to create new revenue from existing information.
Previously, Tal was CEO of Symphony Metreo, which was merged with Symphony Services
to enable the Analytic Services offerings. Tal led the strategy and operations of
Symphony Metreo leveraging his operational experience from over 20 years in the
technology field driving growth across entrepreneurial startups and larger organizations.
Prior to joining Symphony Metreo, Tal served as senior vice president, products
and technology and CTO at Agile Software, where he led teams in product strategy
and product management and helped to align the company’s PLM solutions with their
customer's business objectives. Prior to joining Agile, he held leadership positions
in engineering, products and operations at various internet and software companies,
including Aspect Development (acquired by i2 in 2000) where he helped Dr. Wadhwani
and the team grow the highly valued and successful Supplier Relationship Management
company. Tal has also held technology and leadership roles at Cadence, Alcatel and
GE. He attended North Carolina State University where he earned a B.S. in Electrical
Engineering.
Vijaya Shanker
Vijaya has more than 19 years of IT industry experience that includes managing large
enterprise IT operations as well as global delivery for Fortune 100 companies. He
is presently the Vice President - Managed Services at Symphony Services and owns
the business & delivery of the Managed Services service line. The Managed Services
organization is directly responsible for providing Remote Infrastructure Services
to global customers on the engineering and production IT environments. He also heads
the IT organization for India and China operations.
Prior to Symphony, Vijaya was the Practice Head at Hewlett-Packard GlobalSoft. His
responsibilities included managing the complete IT infrastructure of HP GlobalSoft
Ltd (about 15000 employees) which included Production Engineering, Contact Center
Network, Datacenter Management, Enterprise Networks, Server and Storage Management
and Service desk. He also headed a large team of technical professionals to provide
24x7 Remote IT Management for HP Managed Service global customers. Vijaya has also
previously served as Associate VP (Network Services and Operations) for Global Telesystems.
He has a BE (Electronics) from Bangalore Institute of Technology.
