Dr. Pallab Chatterjee — Chairman and CEO

In his position as Chairman and CEO, Pallab is responsible for Symphony Services’ overall strategic direction and execution as the company continues its geographic expansion and organic and inorganic growth in outsourced engineering services for independent software vendors (ISVs), embedded software and engineering services for design and simulation.

A recognized technology innovator and experienced executive, Pallab is a Managing Director and Operating Partner of Symphony Technology Group (STG). Prior to STG, he was CEO of i2 Technologies, Inc., a market leader in supply chain management. Before i2, Dr. Chatterjee spent twenty four years at Texas Instruments in a variety of positions, including Senior Vice President of Research and Development, Chief Technology Officer of Texas Instruments Technology Labs and President of its $1.5 billion Notebook and Calculator Division. He has been the recipient of numerous industry awards and accolades, including TI Senior fellow (1985), IEEE Fellow (1986) and the IEEE J.J. Ebers Award (1986) and Member National Academy of Engineers (1997).

Alan Harlan — President, Product Line Management

Alan brings more than 20 years of experience with software and outsourcing companies and has served in executive technology, sales, and accounting roles. As the leader of the Product Line Management group, Alan and his team assume full responsibility for entire product lines or business units—globalizing product engineering and taking on all market facing operations—to help clients optimize profitability and sustainability.

He has a track record of running high performing sales and delivery operations and turning around under-performing business units. Under his leadership the Product Line Management group transformed Spend Management Solutions, a telecommunications expense management software provider, into a profitable and sustainable software-as-a-service (SaaS) organization by globalizing the full product engineering lifecycle and reforming onshore sales and service resources to efficiently serve North American and European customers. Alan also serves as President of Symphony Spend Management Solutions which is a unit within the Product Line Management group.

Prior to joining Symphony Services, Alan was EVP for Sierra Design Group, Inc., a gaming software development and services firm, VP of Sales for Sourcecorp, Inc., a data services company with significant global outsourcing relationships, and EVP of Affiliated Computer Services, Inc., a global technology and business process firm.

Alan holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a concentration in Accounting from Louisiana State University.

Amitava Roy — Chief Operating Officer

Amitava is Chief Operating Officer of Symphony Services and is responsible for global delivery of software engineering operations including projects, strategic consulting and various business units like Enterprise Applications, Enterprise Technology, Engineering Services, Professional Services & Support and Remote Infrastructure Management.

Amitava has more than 28 years of leadership experience in the IT industry. He brings to Symphony Services proven abilities in strategic planning and in the building and management of businesses in a global environment. Before joining Symphony, Amitava was a Senior Corporate Vice President at HCL Technologies, one of India’s top IT and technology firms, where he had oversight of more than 7,000 people, establishing and managing R&D; centers for clients. His achievements at HCL include revitalizing hardware R&D; services to become a leading embedded and wireless services business, taking on leadership for Netcentric Technologies division growing it from the smallest to the largest delivery division, and the launch of the enterprise consulting business, which became the fastest growing business in the company. He was also responsible for HCL’s sales and marketing operations for Japan and today HCL Japan is among the fastest growing geographies for HCL worldwide. Amitava was also responsible for the creation of new service offerings, business segments, critical partnerships and joint ventures around the world.

Prior to HCL, Amitava was a founding member of Hughes Software Systems (currently known as Aricent). As a pioneer in what is today India’s thriving product development and R&D; sector, he played critical roles in the creation of award-winning enterprise networking products for the parent company and in strategic planning for growth and diversification of the company's business. He also has more than a decade of experience with Tata Consultancy Services, where he last held the position of group manager for its Data Communication and Networking business. Amitava received a Master of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering as well as a Bachelor of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering from Jadavpur University, Kolkata.

Lee Fields — Chief Sales and Marketing Officer

Lee has more than 30 years of experience in an IT career that has encompassed diverse leadership roles in sales, marketing, operations and corporate business development. At Symphony Services, Lee spearheads a global client acquisition strategy designed to expand the organization’s leadership position across key markets.

Prior to joining Symphony Services, Lee was the Senior Vice President of Global Programs at Wipro Technologies, where his team was responsible for ‘prospect through transition’ of very large (>$100m), complex, multi-tower outsourcing engagements. Earlier, Lee held various executive positions at Infocrossing (acquired by Wipro in 2007) including President of IT Outsourcing and President of the Enterprise Application Services Solution Group. He has also been engaged with Mercer Management Consulting and IBM. From 1997 to 2003, Lee was a founding member of AnswerThink, Inc., a provider of technology-based business transformation solutions, where he served in various sales, business development, and consulting roles, ultimately becoming Chief Sales Officer.

Lee holds a degree in Economics from Rutgers College, NJ, USA.

C Mahalingam — Executive Vice President and Chief People Officer

C Mahalingam (Mali) has more than 23 years of experience in the field of Human Resources and has held senior executive positions with leading organizations. Prior to joining Symphony Services, Mali led HR for the India operations of IBM and Hewlett-Packard as well as Philips Software Center. At these companies Mali helped drive Total Employee Delight to attain a position among the best employers. Mali is currently the President of the IT Industry HR Association, Bangalore, and is on the National HR Committee of the Confederation of Indian Industry, New Delhi. He is a recipient of the prestigious Golden Jubilee Gold Medal for the Masters in Personnel Management & Industrial Relations, Loyola College, Chennai. Mali holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Sacred Heart College, Chennai.

Pradeep Chaudhry — Chief Financial Officer

Pradeep Chaudhry has more than 15 years of experience in the field of Corporate Finance with significant expertise in the areas of M&A;, planning, pricing accounting, capital raising, tax and regulatory issues. In his position as Chief Financial Officer at Symphony Services, he oversees all financial operations, focusing on capital structure, budgeting, financial reporting and managing communication with the investor community. Prior to joining Symphony Services, Pradeep had successful stints as Chief Financial Officer at ISGN, Cambridge Solutions Ltd., and Ind-Telesoft. At each of these companies, Pradeep led financial operations and was instrumental in the turn-around of operations, maintaining investor relations and raising capital (debt and equity). Earlier, Pradeep served in senior management positions at IBM Global Services, Bangalore. Pradeep holds a MBA (Finance) degree from the University of Illinois, USA.

Laura D. Weinstein — Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary

Laura Weinstein is Symphony’s Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary. Laura is responsible for worldwide legal affairs at Symphony, managing the Company’s legal infrastructure in support of Symphony’s high growth domestic and international operations, and advising on the Company’s key strategic transactions, corporate, employment, intellectual property matters and governance. Laura has more than 15 years of legal experience, including senior management positions at start up and established companies.

Prior to working at Symphony, Laura served as associate general counsel and corporate secretary of BrassRing, Inc., an enterprise recruiting and human resources management software company in San Mateo, CA. Before working at BrassRing, Laura served as associate general counsel of Kaplan, Inc. in New York, NY, a diversified education company within the Washington Post Company. Prior to going in-house, she was a litigator at Stillman & Friedman, a white collar criminal defense and civil litigation firm in New York, NY. Additionally, Laura served as law clerk to the Hon. Irving R. Kaufman, United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, in New York, NY.

Laura holds a B.A. degree from Amherst College and a J.D from New York University School of Law. Laura is a member of both the California State bar and the New York State bar..

Gordon Brooks — Vice Chairman

Gordon has more than 27 years of outsourcing and product development experience with companies like CSC, ADP and Oracle and has operated global development centers in 16 countries. In 1991 Gordon helped found Cambridge Technology Partners (CTP), where he ran operations throughout the Americas and had global responsibility for sales as Chief Sales Officer. He was instrumental in growing the company to more than $600 million in revenues over his seven year tenure, including a successful IPO in 1994. After CTP, Gordon founded and became the President, CEO and Chairman of outsourcing firm Breakaway Solutions. Under Gordon's leadership, Breakaway grew to serve more than 200 customers worldwide, achieved revenues over $100 million in its first full year of operations and had a successful IPO with a market capitalization of $4.7 billion. After founding and heading up China outsourcing firm E5 Systems, he made the move to executive leadership of Symphony Services in 2004. Gordon holds a Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Hampshire.

Barbara A. Yastine

With more than 20 years of experience as an executive with global financial firms such as Credit Suisse First Boston (CSFB) and Citigroup, Barbara is well-suited for her roles as Independent Board Member and Chair of Symphony Services' audit committee, where she is responsible for leading the Board in fulfilling its oversight responsibilities related to the integrity of Symphony's financial statements and internal controls, the engagement of its external auditors, and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

Barbara was most recently the CFO of CSFB, the global investment bank of Zurich-based Credit Suisse Group (CSG). While there, she oversaw all financial reporting and tax activities, served on CSFB's operating committee and on the executive boards of both CSG and CSFB. Before joining CSFB, Barbara was with Citigroup and its predecessor companies for 15 years, serving in a number of executive and financial roles at both the corporate and operating levels. These included CFO of Citigroup's Global Corporate and Investment Bank, Chief Auditor, Chief Administrative Officer of its Global Consumer Group, Executive Vice President of Finance and Insurance of its consumer lending business and Vice President of Corporate Investor Relations and Financial Planning & Analysis.

In addition to her professional duties, Barbara also chairs the Finance and Audit Committee of the Board of Directors of Phoenix House, the nation's leading provider of drug and alcohol abuse treatment and prevention services, operating more than one hundred programs in nine states. She holds a B.A. in journalism from New York University and an MBA in Finance from the New York University School of Business.

Ramanan Raghavendran

Ramanan is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Kubera Partners, a private equity firm that invests in crossborder businesses. Prior to founding Kubera, Ramanan led the successful cross-border investing efforts at TH Lee Putnam Ventures as a senior partner (and he continues to oversee the THLPV portfolio). He was formerly a Senior Partner at Insight Venture Partners, where he invested in business process outsourcing and enterprise software companies, including crossborder investing via ConnectCapital, an Insight affiliate. Previously, Ramanan was a senior member of the investment team at General Atlantic, where he initiated the Internet-related investment effort and also led sector efforts in technology services and enterprise software. Ramanan began his professional career at McKinsey & Company in New York and London.

He is the chairman of the advisory board of Magic Bus (www.magicbusindia.org), a Mumbai-based charitable organization that uses innovative techniques to assist some of the most “at-risk” children in Mumbai. He is a member of the advisory board of the Center for the Advanced Study of India at the University of Pennsylvania, the only research institution in the United States dedicated to the study of contemporary India. Ramanan also co-founded Impact Partners, the first venture philanthropy entity in India.

He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School and a B.S.E. in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania's Moore School of Engineering.

Robert M. Howe

Bob’s experience spans more than 30 years in information technology, consulting and services. Bob founded the IBM Consulting practice. Starting the group in 1991, Bob created the strategy and built a worldwide network of consulting practices, which supported all industries. When he left in 1994, the consulting group had grown to $250 million in revenues and today is one of the largest consulting organizations worldwide. At IBM, Bob also served as the General Manager of IBM's global banking, financial and securities business, a $14 billion division of IBM, where he was responsible for sales, strategy, and solutions. Following IBM, Bob was the chairman of Scient Incorporated, where he helped start the company as its CEO and built it to over 2000 professionals in less than 3 years.

Bob also had a distinguished career with Booz, Allen & Hamilton starting in 1976, where he consulted extensively in information technology. He was elected Senior Vice President in 1986, and served as a member of the Board of Directors and a member of the firm's executive committee. In addition, he serves on the Boards of JohnsonDiversey and NorthStar. He also started Montgomery Goodwin Investments, LLC. Bob holds a BBA from Southern Methodist University and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration.

Dr. Romesh Wadhwani

Dr. Romesh Wadhwani is the Founder, Chairman & CEO of Symphony Technology Group (STG), a strategic private equity firm. STG’s current portfolio consists of nine companies with combined revenue of $2.5 billion and 15,000 employees in North America, Europe, India and China. Before STG, Romesh was the Founder, Chairman & CEO of Aspect Development, Inc., the leading provider of enterprise software for Supplier Relationship Management. Aspect was acquired for over $9 billion, one of the largest mergers in software history. Prior to that, Romesh was founder and CEO of two other enterprise software companies, each of which he built over a ten year period. Romesh received his Bachelor of Science degree from IIT Bombay and his MS and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Carnegie-Mellon University.
